Tire shops sell and install new tires, patch punctures, balance wheels and, at most locations, align the suspension. Prices are quoted per tire plus mounting, balancing, valve stems and a state disposal fee for the old set; many shops price-match and include free rotation and flat repair for the life of the tire. Used tire shops sell inspected take-offs for a fraction of the price of new ones, useful for an older car or a single replacement, but check the tread depth (4/32 inch or more) and the DOT date code, since rubber ages even on the shelf. Mobile tire services come to your driveway or the roadside, commercial shops handle semi, trailer, farm and off-road tires, and wheel shops repair and refinish bent or curb-scraped rims.

Louisville is in Kentucky, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Louisville is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Kentucky's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

DO NOT GO HERE , you will be SCAMMED. I do not recommend this shop. I purchased a tire here, and from the beginning there were issues. The tire had β245β written on it in chalk, but I later discovered they actually installed a 235 tire instead. I didnβt notice at first because I trusted that I was given the correct size. Not long after, the tire started losing air. I took my car back to the shop, but nothing was done to resolve the problem. Eventually, I realized the tire they installed was the wrong size. The tire also had a 2022 date code, meaning it was already several years old when it was sold to me. Just one month after purchasing it, the tire completely failed, leaving me with a flat and over $100 wasted. The most disappointing part was the lack of accountability or effort to fix the issue when I returned. Based on my experience, I would not trust this shop or recommend it to anyone.

I had a flat on a Thursday afternoon on I65 around 5pm, managed to get to a gas station to change the tire to my donut sized spare. I called The Tire Station and the gentleman on the phone was happy to take a look to see if they had a tire in my size, confirmed that they did, and then told me to call when I pulled in. I drove the four minutes from where I was previously, the gentleman showed me the tire he had, gave me the price, and after confirmation then had his technician get it done. It took all of about 10 minutes (notably because they were already working on a different vehicle with a difficult issue of a bolt on that vehicle) for them to change the tire, remove my spare, mount the replacement wheel and tire they just fixed, assist me in getting the spare and components back in my trunk and another two minutes to go in and pay for it. Quick, efficient, polite, and extremely reasonable in cost, I could not have asked for better in the service and product.

Sunday evening, driving from Missouri to Ohio and as we were passing through Louisville our tire needs replaced. We originally go to Samβs Club since itβs right off the highway, they are open, and we have a membership. After going back and forth with them, even though they had our specific tire on hand and were open they wouldnβt replace it for us. So my husband called about 8 different nearby tire places and none of them would help us due to it being Sunday evening. Until he stumbled upon The Tire Station. The person that answered the phone was short and to the point but informed us that not only did they have the tire on hand but they could take us right away. We got there and we werenβt too sure of the place but they got us the new tire right away and we werenβt too sure back on the road in less than an hour from when we had even called them. I didnβt interact directly with the men working there as we also had our dog so I stood in the parking lot with her but from what I could gather, English might not be the primary language so the guys working there are straight to the point and no nonsense. I cannot thank all of the people working there for all of their help. Not only did we

Best tire shop Iβve been to! Fast service, great prices, and very professional staff. I changed my tires there and the work was done perfectly. My car feels great now. I highly recommend this shop to anyone who needs tires or tire repair. I will definitely come back again. Thank you π

Car had two flats, had it towed here when I broke down in the middle of the night. They quickly replaced my tires, however they were dry rotted. I immediately had to get them replaced at a different shop. I missed the window for an exchange. For the same price for new tires, is the price I paid for these used ones. Be cautious if you come here. The have a no return, 3 day exchange only policy.
